PORTRAITS

You're buying an original illustration featuring your character!I offer two sizes 5x7 inch and 8x10 inch. These are standard photo sizes so that you can easily and inexpensively frame the finished piece. Because I work in "real media", the amount of detail I can fit in a piece depends on the size you choose. A bust (like the one pictured below) done at 5x7 inches will have less space for details than an 8x10 inch bust.

At 5x7 inches, your portrait will have a simple watercolour wash background (like the one pictured above) and feature the character from shoulders up. The 8x10 inch bust will be similar, but slightly larger with more room for detail and, perhaps, a simple background. If you commission a full-body portrait, it must be 8.5x11 inches so that I can fit enough detail on the page. Below is an example of this size.

Portrait TypePrice
5 x 7 inch Bust w/ watercolour wash background$75
8 x 10 inch Bust w/ simple background$100
8.5 x 11 inch Full-body w/ simple background$150

Please note: Complicated characters may cost more.

CONBADGES

Convention Badges are portraits that feature your Original Character and your/their preferred name. They are either kept in badge sleeves or laminated and hole-punched and then hung around your neck from a lanyard. These became popular to wear at furry conventions because folks aren't always recognizable in person as they often identify online as their fursona. Now, many folks like to collect conbadges!

Like the majority of my art, my conbadges are illustrated in watercolors & ink. I scan each illustration before cutting and laminating it, and will email you the digital file.Because some people don't like to see original art laminated, you can indicate whether or not you want your badge cut out and laminated. Instead of having me laminate the original art piece, you can print the scanned art to cut and laminate yourself and keep the original in its pure form. Just please let me know if this is your intention.

TypeDescriptionPrice
MiniHead/Bust (3 x 4 inches)$50
LargeHead/Bust (5 x 7 inches)$75
LargeHalf-Body (5 x 7 inches)$90

Please note: Complicated characters may cost more.

Communication

I am happy to communicate with you about your commissions through e-mail, discord, telegram, or DM on Instagram. However, sometimes Instagram doesn't give me notifications. So, if you don't hear back from me on Instagram within 48 hours, please e-mail me instead.Open Communication is Important! I will keep you "in-the-loop" about where I'm at with your commission. If there are a few commissions ahead of yours, I'll let you know periodically where I'm at on my to-do list. As I work on your commission, I will also send a few process pictures. That said, please keep in mind that I am juggling two businesses and a home-life. I will not ghost you, but I will also not be available to answer your messages within minutes of you sending them. Please respect my time as I respect yours. While I am generally an open person who likes to make new friends in the fandom, please understand that this is a business transaction. If we do not have a prior relationship, our interactions should be of a professional nature. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Extreme behaviour may be screencapped and shared with other artists.

Commission process

STEP ONE: You see my work and like my style. You decide you would like a commission from me. Yay!STEP TWO: You check out this webpage and read all this info. You then contact me to talk about your proposed commission. You may fill out one of the forms linked at the bottom of this page, or give me the information directly. You provide me with SFW reference images.STEP THREE: I approve your commission and you send payment, either by E-transfer or PayPal (or in person because we're at a con).STEP FOUR: I will create a sketch of your character. I do a lot of my sketching digitally to save paper and to make it easier for me to make quick changes. I will send my initial sketch of your character for your review. This is your chance to ask for a redraw should you prefer a different pose, or for smaller changes. Please don't hesitate to ask for changes at this stage. I want you to be happy with the final product!STEP FIVE: Once you have confirmed the sketch is how you like it, I will trace it onto watercolour paper and ink it. Because I am working in "real" media, there aren't a lot of changes I can do after this point without completely redrawing the picture. Redraws at this point will cost extra.STEP SIX: I finish your illustration! YAY! I will scan it and send you the digital file. Then, I will either mail you the original, or you will pick it up from me (as we pre-arranged).

TIMELINES

Commission completion times will vary. Please let me know ahead of your commission if there is a deadline. For example: the portrait is a birthday gift for a friend, or, this is a conbadge you want for an upcoming con. This way, I can let you know if I believe it is possible for me to meet your deadline. If there is no queue ahead of you, I usually will have the initial sketch to you within 2 days of receiving payment. Then, after you have confirmed the sketch, I usually have the illustration finished within 1-5 days. These timelines are an estimate and heavily reliant on my work schedule, how many commissions I have ahead of yours, and con season. I will, of course, let you know a better time estimate during our correspondence.Sometimes, unforeseen things like illness, injury, or family emergency will come up that prevent me from getting your work to you by the quoted time. If something like this happens, I will let you know as soon as I am able.

WILL NOT DRAW

Below is a list of things I will not draw. Besides the list, I also reserve the right to decline any commission without giving a reason.I will NOT accept commissions that include:
-explicit nudity
-sexual situations
-excessive gore
-politically or religiously charged imagery
-police/military themes
-offensive or hateful themes
-underage or babyfur
-other people's characters without permission
Feel free to contact me with questions if you are unsure whether your commission request falls within these parameters.THE THING ABOUT WATERCOLOURS: Please understand that given the nature of watercolours, your character's colours will not be "eye-dropper accurate". Additionally, characters who are predominantly black will probably not look their most appealing in this medium.

REFUND POLICY

If, for whatever reason, you no longer wish for this commission. You can let me know while I am still in the early stages of sketching it and I will be happy to give you a partial refund. After I have passed the sketching step of your commission, I will NOT give refunds. You are paying for my time and that is not something that can be returned for a refund.Once your completed artwork is sent through the post office, I am no longer responsible for its safety and can not issue a refund in the event that it gets lost or damaged.

ORDER FORMS

These order forms are for your convenience. If you would prefer to talk to me about your order directly instead of filling out a form, you can e-mail me or DM me on social media.Either way, PLEASE contact me about your commission. Don't just send in a form without talking to me as I do not receive a notification of a new order form and will not know to be looking for it.
